Parents of Murdered Children (POMC) is a national organization founded in 1978 by Charlotte and Bob Hullinger in Cincinnati, Ohio after the murder of their daughter, Lisa. POMC is made up of many local area chapters across the country and provides emotional support, education, information, advocacy and awareness to friends and family members of homicide victims.

A support network is a key element to surviving a tragedy, so our local chapter of POMC is here to help you. Membership in POMC is open to anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one to homicide. Professionals working with bereaved families are also welcome.

The Southeast Minnesota Chapter of Parents of Murdered Children meets monthly for members to cope with their grief and the criminal justice system. Members of POMC can freely and safely express their feelings, emotions and experiences with other members who have shared the same experiences.

There will be no meeting on July 26th due to the National POMC Conference. Our next meeting will be August 23rd. If you need immediate assistance, please call 507-358-4017. Thank you.
